Chaplin - Comments

I just finished watching this film for the umpteenth and I couldn't agree more; the film is a classic.
Robert plays the part to perfection and nobody else could have been close, I heard that in the scene where his mother (played by Chaplin's granddaughter) meets Charlie at the studios with Syd; she had to do a double take from the uncanny likeness.

RDJ did an amazing performance, he really captured the Tramp's essence. I've loved Charlie Chaplin for quite awhile now, and I hadn't even know about this movie until a few weeks ago. It's so wonderful, when I saw it I fell in love with RDJ.
