I want to see this movie so badly. I love Adrian Brody (i think i spelt that wrong). I love him to death. I saw the trailer a few months ago when I went to go see a movie and I looked at my boyfriend and told him we were going to go see it. Thought i haven't had the chance : [

when I read the part to see al was Dren is backwards, it took a few seconds and when i realized what it said, i giggled .haha

Good article by the way.

I've been wanting to see this for awhile now, and this review actually makes me want to see it more. But honestly? Dren backwards... that's just ridiculous. xD

@TheHeroinDiairies I thought that myself. The moment I saw Elsa stand up, I was like "SEQUEL".

I thought this was a really good movie. I was expecting it to be more gory, but I didn't mind that it wasn't. I was drawn to Dren, just because of her curiosity. Though, I did get a little uncomfortable with her and Clive.

I bet they're gonna make a sequel. Just because of the ending.

@Midnight Ruby The sex scene isn't gory or disgusting or anything... it's a tad graphic, with some boobage being shown. The reason most people are squicked out by it is because of which two people it IS that are having sex.

I wanted to see this but from the trailers it gave off horror film, and I'm a big chicken. But from your review it doesn't seem that bad, and from the commenter I'd make sure to not pay attention during the sexual scene which would appear to be disturbing

I'm going to see it just for David Hewlett, but this review made me a little more hopeful that it might actually be a good movie anyway.

I saw it a little while ago. I felt that it was a rather good movie and I fell in love with Dren (which my girlfriend found completely bizarre). Shes like a small child that needs to be cared for and it pulled my motherly iinstinct I guess. However, when it got towards the end, I didn't like it quite so much but I feel that almost everything in the movie was put in there for a reason and nothing was really just thrown in because it needed to be.

Overall, I rather liked the movie.

I saw this last week. It was pretty good I have to admit. The idea that someone would create a movie like this is genious I have to say. I thought at first it was going to be kind of like Alien but it was so much more than that. It was a genre of everything really. I have to say the part that really didn't need to be put in though was the sexual scene. They could have shown her arousal for sexual pleasure in a way different way than that. Ugh, just disturbing. Other than that though, I would give it a B+!

Probably the craziest movie I've seen in a long, long time. If not the craziest movie I've EVER seen. A friend of mine and I saw it together. We were both left thinking, "Oh. My. God. Nightmares." It did, in our opinion, have a pretty fucked up ending. But that's not to say it isn't a good movie or worth at least one watch. (:

It was odd and crazy...and you don't really see movies like that very much.

They human gene is what made her so aggressive.
I thought it was a good movie, like good affects but it was also
like a sci fi fanatics sexual fantasy in those scenes towards the end.

*ADRIEN Brody.

I saw this movie a few days back, with a couple of roommates. I still can't believe the director and producers read that script, and still green-lit it to be made. Seriously? Oh, Adrien Brody, why?
