The King's Speech. - Comments

My parents told me to watch it with them one day, and I thought that I wouldn't really like it because it did appear to be more of a documentary in my eyes. However, I was pleasantly surprised and really enjoyed it. It was interesting and his constant swearing was very hilarious.
This movie definitely deserved every award and Colin is an amazing actor.
And I agree with you 100% about this being the movie of the year. (:

When I first bought it, I hadn't seen it and only heard that it was awesome. And well, it was. It surprised me with how well it was done considering that a lot of movies other people say are wonderful I'm not usually sharing their opinion. ...my grandma then borrowed if from me and watched it four times in a row including all the special features, so I guess she enjoyed it too. =)

I adored this movie. I thought it was wonderful and it was a breath of fresh air to a movie market that's become, quite frankly, rather stale as of late. (:

Great article :D the movie came out on DVD here in the US a while ago (I believe sometime in April?) and I've seen at least four times. The swearing scene is my favorite, and Colin did a brilliant job. Definitely deserved all the award it has received :)

Excellent article. I just saw this on Sunday, since my mom really wanted to see it, and I honestly wasn't expecting it to be as wonderful as it is!

I just watched the film and did a bit of internet research on it as I decided to write it xD

Finally someone wrote an article about this movie. I personally loved this movie and it well deserved the oscar :)
