The Phantom of the Opera - Comments

I was skeptical when I first was introduced to this, but that was foolishness. The more I listened to the words and watched the drama unfold with every note and line drew me in to the enigma that is and always will be the phantom. It is of course not for those who want the simple Shrek, but it is not worth over looking. Well written article I will add.July 9th, 2012 at 07:36pm

Wah! I saw Phantom in New York when I was about 12 or 13 and absolutely fell in love. There were a time in my life where the soundtrack was pretty much the only thing I listened to :) Your article was beautiful, very poetic, and it brought back such memories of sitting in the dark, completely absorbed with the scene in front of me. Ah, what I'd give to see it again. One day! Thanks for this! :DJuly 9th, 2012 at 10:20am

This article was great and very true. I saw the Phantom for the first time on Broadway years ago and have been in love with it ever since. I know a lot of kids my age who don't understand it and who barely like the movie, which I will NEVER understand. Call me old fashioned but the Phantom is my favorite love story, it's classic, timeless, and my kids WILL be watching it one day, whether they like it or not!July 9th, 2012 at 05:16am

According To Elle; Ahh, that makes sense. I was wondering about that, but I figured it was just something having to do with where you lived.July 9th, 2012 at 12:22am

I love Phantom. I've seen the musical on Broadway NY, which was one of the most amazing experiences I'd ever had. And the article is also great, something I enjoyed reading.July 9th, 2012 at 12:10am

Aha thank you so much! I'm glad you liked it! The only thing is, if you aren't from the UK you probably won't understand the Manchester Liverpool thing... I wrote this for my school newspaper, and round here everyone does. Long story short, Manchester United are a football club who hate Liverpool football team so when I said I was a Liverpool fan, I was actually running for my life! hehe! Soo happy people are enjoying this!July 8th, 2012 at 11:36pm

I love everything that has to do with Phantom of the Opera, from the music, to the movie, to the musical. The characters are incredible and the plot line is great.
I really liked this review, you did a great job. That’s all I ask of you. At the end of the review, clever. That was one of the best songs.July 8th, 2012 at 11:32pm -

This is my FAVORITE musical of all time. Just saw it on Broadway last week and it was spectacular! The music is gripping and very modern and the storyline is something that just invites you in. I thought it was easy to understand and I like the opera-type feel that comes from it. So happy to see a review on it! :)July 8th, 2012 at 11:21pm

I didn't know there was a sequel! Oh my gosh I adored it. It was beautiful I was in tears by the end! I just wished my friends would have appreciated it more! Thanks for the comment, I'll defiantly look it up! :)July 8th, 2012 at 10:46pm

Phantom is one of my favorite shows of all time, I'll never deny an invitation to go see it. It's so beautiful, and Andrew Lloyd Webber never disappoints.
If you liked Phantom, you really should look into going to see the sequel, Love Never Dies. Webber does the music in that, too. Just as beautiful.July 8th, 2012 at 10:44pm
Anyway, I loved your article!
