Train_Man: Densha Otoko

Train_Man: Densha Otoko "Please... Stop."

It started as a simple train ride on an ordinary commuter train. Suddenly, when a mad drunk looking for a fight comes on the train, it becomes something different. After the man harasses several young people, and even a few older women, he starts to talk forwardly towards a young girl. Suddenly, the geek (pseudonym "Train_Man") steps forward nervously and stands up for the passengers. The police come and take the man away, and leave everyone in the train back to their own business.

After the experience on the train, Train_Man is lead to the police station in the train drop off, to answer questions about what had happened. Several women, and the girl he saved are there, and as he leaves, he's given what every geek merely dreams about: a girl's telephone number.

Seeking for advice because of his "lack of" sexual experience, he logs onto a BBS website, and explains to everyone what has happened and asks what to do.

In doing this, he became an internet phenomenon with almost millions of people on the small forum. They give him dating advice, such as what clothes to where, and where to go to eat. They cheer for the unknown man and help him through and through, and comfort him when seeking moral support. We watch them follow Train_Man and the mysterious "Hermes", anxious for every little detail.

In exchange, Train_Man helps the people help themselves, such as a distant couple, a lonely nurse, a boy whom is distant from the outside world, and three geeks seeking advice themselves.

As the movie commences, you will laugh and cry. Most people that know the movie seem to enjoy it, and if they go on a small site like that, know what support they're talking about.

Based on a True Story of one of Japan's biggest BBS forum phenomenon, you will feel the love between both Train and Hermes as they venture through their first experience together, with a little help from computers of course!
