Elevator

Elevator is a pulse pounding new thriller that is sure to impress most horror fans. The movie follows a group of eight people as they ride an elevator to the top of a building for a large, exclusive event. Immediately the group starts to bicker, and when the elevator breaks down, the people begin breaking down, too. As the minutes pass, they become less hopeful about being rescued before the party’s end, but as they begin to learn more about each other, they realize that the party is the least of their worries.

The film didn’t have any well-known, A-list actors, but the acting was still superb. Each person played their part extremely well and I don’t think the producers could have picked a better cast.

Even though the majority of the film’s scenes are in the elevator, it was still very interesting and held my attention well. The movie focused less on plot and more on the characters and their development.

Elevator had plenty of action and lots of moments that left me on the edge of my seat. There were bits of the film that were a bit gruesome, so I don’t recommend it to younger viewers or anyone who is squeamish. I do recommend this movie to older viewers who are fans of horror type action films like Devil, Silent House, and ATM.
