I love shark movies as well, which meant I wanted to see the Shallows the moment I heard of it. What I loved about it, which doesn't happen often in my opinion, is that we see Nancy stumble and fail and do absolutely stupid things to get away from this shark. Stepping in coral, getting hit in the head over and over again, thus explaining her friendship with the seagull, haha.
