Harper's Island - Comments

Wasn't this on last summer?? Me and my mom loved that show, the ending was soooo suprising.

I adored the show and the twists had me unable to stop watching it
But there were things I didn't like, mostley the fact that I stil had questions about the show:
Like how did _____ have time to kill all those people and set all those traps?
And why did _____ not shoot ______ ______ and yet she shot ______?

My favorite part bt far was ___ and ______ death scene.
It was epic and I cried :)

The twist, I think is a little weird and when you become analytical about it; you have to wonder how "_____" managed to do it all, even though there was the assistance of "_________". Also, (I googled who the killer was), but the way the killer revealed themself was not that great either, I think it could have been done a little better. And yeah, I remembered this article and thought I would come back and comment.

This show was amazing. I quite enjoyed the ending. And I believe that the motive was reasonable...coming from a crazy person. You've got to know that Henry's not the most stable person involved, so of course his thinking won't be top-notch.

It was awesome. Everyone was saying, 'Its Wakefeild! He's alive!" And just when you see Henry... you're like... Its him!

And at a point, I thought J.D did it. I loved Sully and Henry. They were great. The whole cast were great actor/actresses. I wish it had more seasons, because it was a one-season thing, but I can't wait till I get the DVD.

And you would think Henry was IN LOVE with Trish. But then turns to love Abby...

I LOVE THIS SHOW!!!!! I cried when Cal and Chloe died, and when i found out everything about Henry! DUDE why him? He was awesome. When JD died, I knew something was up with him, the cuts on his arms. And wouldn't John Wakefield killed him when he killed JD? I love this show i want the DVDS

@Music.DrownLife I love Henry too. You're not the only one! I was so upset when it ended. I wish they would tell what happens to everyone in the end. I love this show so much. I'm getting the DVD when I have money. lol

Is it wrong that I love the crazy man going after his half sister?
I wanted it to be him from the start. He was so caring and sweet that he needed the twist.
I have thought about this show almost everyday since it has been over.

@ asteroid: Indeed, it looks like it was made in such a hurry. That was a disappointing moment. During the show you get a dose of fear, a dose of wondering but in the end.. You get.. You know (:

v Very true. :) I suppose a more creative twist would have been awesome, but when I saw the finale, I was kinda in shock for the entire episode. I guess I'm just easily impressionable or something like that.

@ asteroid: I don't want anything far fetched, that'd be even worse, I just think that the ending could have been a bit more creative. The ending was disappointing in my opinion and that has nothing to do with a twist (: We just have different opinions - you loved the show, I want to improve it a bit.

It was a good show but I think they might have changed the ending since it was getting canceled. It just all seemed a little rushed at the end a bit in my opinion.

I watched this show all the way through as well. I thought that this show was so good and looked forward to it every Saturday. It was something different and always kept you on your toes for each episode. You were always wondering what was going to happen next and who was going to get the slip next.
I would love to watch the series over again since I missed the very first episode.

I personally loved this show. I'm hoping to buy it on DVD when I get the money to. I don't think you can go into the ending expecting something far-fetched; you need to expect the twist to actually fit in with the plot and the back stories that have been set up.

This review was very detailed, but to me, it seemed a bit all over the place. You used filming techniques but never really explained what they meant, you kept jumping from saying the ending was disappointing to there was definitely a twist, and over all, the organization of this piece just didn't really flow with me. Maybe because it's 9 in the morning, and I should never be awake this early. I dunno. Also, the word choice and sentence structures seemed a little choppy as well. I noticed sometimes you didn't use complete sentences, which made it a little awkward to read.

But over all, I applaud you for recognizing this show. And I have to disagree a little on the non-gory part; there are indeed some bloody death scenes that had me jumping.
