House MD: Draining Out?

House MD: Draining Out? House MD is a medical drama based on a doctor named Gregory House. He is a diagnostician at Princeton-Plainsboro Teaching Hospital, and with the help of his team, made up of Robert Chase, Allison Cameron, and Eric Foreman, he solves medical cases that no one else can.

The show debuted its pilot episode on November 16th, 2004, meaning the show is upcoming it’s seventh season. The show took its viewers on an emotional roller coaster for the first five seasons, always adding new stuff, and keeping the viewers entertained, but now, not so much. The sixth season seemed dry, focusing on almost nothing. There was no drama, and the cases weren’t very hard for someone to figure out if they had watched the show from the very beginning. House is also known for his sarcastic, witty remarks that made the audience laugh, but those have seemed to dry out too.

In the past two seasons, they’ve also taken out some characters. They wrote out three of them, which is where it started to go downhill. First, they wrote off the character of Amber Volakis at the end of season four, Lawrence Kutner near the end of season five, and Allison Cameron near the middle of season six. Too many characters written out near the same time could be a reason for the drop out.

There is no news that they have changed or traded out staff, writers, editors, or anything, but the show sure has changed since the very beginning. It’s still enjoyable, but not nearly as much as before.
