Grey's Anatomy

Ever sat down on a Sunday night, flicked through the television channels, only to find nothing good on? Look again, Grey’s Anatomy is a witty medical drama that follows a group of interns through their journey at Seattle Grace Hospital. The main focus in the television series is on Meredith Grey, an intern and daughter of Ellis Grey, a famous surgeon, and has a big reputation to live up too.

Meredith has a one night stand, the night before she heads off to her new job at the hospital. On the day she meets her fellow interns, Christina Yang, a cutthroat Stanford graduate. George O’Malley, a warm hearted guy, with a peculiar edge to him. Izzie Stevens, a former model with a sharp but overly optimistic attitude. The head of their pack, resident doctor is Miranda Bailey, who has been dubbed by her fellow coworkers as “The Nazi.”
Meredith then meets her new boss, which to her surprise is the man she had a one night stand with the previous night. Awkward and sexual tension starts from that very moment, and continues through out the series.

Life and death situations keep bumping into them as their hearts jump. All of them desperately wanting to prove themselves to the other doctors, and to themselves, but hesitant if they have what it takes to stay away from letdown. Failing at this level means their patient doesn't see tomorrow.

Grey's Anatomy is a very bright show, which has a certain appeal to it, which makes it that much more realistic. It has that smart, hungry feel of fresh drama. The actors in this show are very talented and the script constructing the pilot was extremely well written.

If you enjoyed “Scrubs” or “E.R”, try out Grey’s Anatomy, it might just cause a new obsession.
