@ daikirai desu.
I haven't watched that movie. But a remake will be totally cool! It's sad that J-dramas get less attention than K-dramas in my country.June 3rd, 2013 at 10:44am -

Yeah, I understand why Jin wasn't there. But MatsuJun? Come on! It would be totally cool if Sawada Shin is back and he and Yankumi got together. Ahh~!! That would be epic!June 3rd, 2013 at 10:41am -
@ Chopper-kun
MAY I SAY I FIND IT HORRENDOUS HOW THEY DIDN'T BRING HIM BACK IN THE GOKUSEN MOVIE.
EVERYONE ELSE WAS THERE, EXCEPT SAWADA SHIN
I think Jin was in the States at the time?
I don't really pay much attention to himJune 3rd, 2013 at 10:34am -
@ daikirai desu.
MatsuJun is the reason I wanted to continue watching Gokusen 1. Of course, Oguro Shun as well. ^_^ Heee... I really do hope MatsuJun's character in the end gets with Yankumi romantically. But, no, that didn't happen. And I was mostly disappointed when MatsuJun and Jin weren't in Gokusen The Movie.June 3rd, 2013 at 10:31am -
@ Chopper-kun
But the prettiness is what makes them perf
MatsuJun was amazing in Gokusen
Adida down there v admitted he was hot in it.
And she hates MatsuJun.June 3rd, 2013 at 10:27am -

LOL! I've never really been a fan of Korean or Japanese actors because they're just too pretty for me. So that's why it came as a shock even to myself when I was obsessing over Jin. ^_^ I like MatsuJun too. His character in Hana Yori Dango is seriously funny. I love how he kinda tries to laugh at other people because he thought that they make a mistake but in truth, he's the one making the mistake.June 3rd, 2013 at 10:23am -
@ Chopper-kun
I haven't heard of that one, but I'll check it out
My first drama was the Sailor Moon one, back before I'd watched the anime
I never liked Akanishi Jin.
I think it's like how some people just don't like MatsuJun.
I was always a Taguchi personJune 3rd, 2013 at 10:18am -
I've watched all the dramas you'd listed and yes, I love them all. The first ever J-drama I watched was the drama called Satorare back when I was still 12, I think. It was really amazing.
And the drama that got me completely and utterly obsessed with Akanishi Jin and Kamenashi Kazuya was Gokusen season two. The whole time I was watching it, I just screamed, "gay! Gay! Gay!" Whenever there are scenes that involve the both of them. And not too long after that, I learned about Akame. ^_^June 2nd, 2013 at 04:36pm -
@ DamnYouJackSparrow!
Hana Yori Dango came first, then Boys Before Flowers.
I think both are right, depending on how they're translated, but in most cases it's definitely Boys Before Flowers.
Netflix isn't available here where I live, so I wouldn't know
WATCH IT.
LOVE IT.
WORSHIP IT
I think Korea definitely dramatises its shows more than Japan.
Like, a lot of Japanese comedies that have a Korean version are definitely more dramatic in the Korean show.June 1st, 2013 at 06:14am -
So did Hana Yori Dango come first and then they made a Korean version of it? Also, for the Korean version, is it Boys Over Flowers or Boys Before Flowers? On my Netflix it says Boys Over Flowers but maybe both are right.
I should watch Hana Yori Dango sometime. I'm sure it won't be as dramatic as the Korean version. God, that show almost killed me with its dramatics but I loved it.June 1st, 2013 at 04:19am -

Fair enough; a lot of people do
But I find that k-dramas are more serious (even the comedic ones) than j-dramas. And Korea tends to focus more on romance and drama than Japan.
