Sakura is an orpan raised in the Kazekague orphanage. She and her older brother were found in an abandoned village by one of the orphanage's deliverymen when she was just a couple of months old. She was found playing in a bed of cherry blossoms, and was then given the name Sakura. At an early age, Sakura always showed fascination with adventure and cherry trees. The Kazekague would always import pictures of cherry trees to the orphanage, as well as books about the latest adventure. Ever since the Kazekague bought pink dye from the market, Sakura would dip her nails in dye and paint flower petals on them. Unlike most children, her hair is a deep rich brown. It is said that her father must have been a foreigner.
