Kayleigh is an introvert, generally shying away from crowds and situations that put her on the spot. She only has one really close friend (Violet Strauss), and a few acquaintances here and there. Her parents are rarely home - father being a workaholic, and her mother having a tendency to travel a lot. She's been in love with Violet Strauss for years, but is afraid to tell her.

Violet is very open and adventurous. She's up for trying new things, especially if it involves alcohol. She has trust issues, and generally doesn't like to get close to anyone. The only exception to this is her best friend, Kayleigh Tesla. Her mother works two jobs, and her father left when she was very young - the cause for her to start drinking. Violet isn't very prone to using common sense, and does anything to distract her from her own insecurities. She never in her entire life thought that anyone could truly love her... That was, until Kayleigh came along.
