Lacey has known Brendon since the third grade, and they have been close friends ever since. When Brendon's band, Panic! started to tour, they asked Lacey to tag along and be their merch girl.

Randy went to high school with Lacey and the band, but the band didn't met him until he started talking to Lacey at the merch booth. When Lacey disappeared Randy took over for her as the merch person. Lacey stayed in contact with Randy, and he was the only one that he explained to about her disappearance. Lacey and Randys' friendship has grown a lot in the five years that they've known each other, and they know that they can count on each other when one of them needs help with somting
