She worked at Stanford University with the baseball team for two years while getting her Master’s degree in athletic training, where she first met Carlos Quentin, and they had an obvious attraction to each other. She meets him again when she starts working for the team he plays for, but she refuses to be in a relationship with him. She becomes great friends with Carlos’s teammates, AJ Pierzynski and Brian Anderson.
