Since he was a child, Jared was taught by the lash of his father's belt, and pushed too far by his mother's prodding. When he gets to high school, he's pushed too far, and he turns to drugs to calm him down in preparation for his many extra-curricular activities. Jared was born to perform, so it came natural that he would sign up for the play. And his talent in both acting and singing ensured his lead role. Popular because of his looks and talent, but doesn't really have friends.
