Aleksandra, or Sandra, is sixteen. Her mother is a drug addict and alcoholic, she doesn't work or do anything for that matter. So it is up to Aleksandra to provide for them, because most jobs for teenagers don't pay too well, she took up a job as a stripper at one of her old friends strip clubs. She also works at Hooters. She cares for her mother very much, and would do anything to help her out or protect her. For a sixteen year old she does pretty well. She dropped out of school in May of grade 10. She couldn't handle the ridicule and teasing from the other kids. She lives in Calgary, Alberta. She had brunette hair that when wet, it black. It reaches just past her shoulders, she has green eyes, and a slim body. She doesn't relate or talk well with people her age, and it doesn't help that she is around adults all the time.

Harmony is Aleksandra's mother. Although she is a pathetic excuse for a mother, she still loves her daughter. Harmony, is french. She moved to Canada when she was eighteen, and had Aleksandra a year later. When she first came here she didn't have any money or a place to live. She did whatever she could to survive, which is how she became a drug addict, Aleksandra's father used to supply Harmony with drugs, he loved her, but in a turf war, got shot and died. Now harmony is depressed and lives off her daughters money. She has light brunette hair and brown eyes.
