With no choice, she lived through hard historical times, and watched terror reign and illness kill so many people she once cared about. One night she left to get some sticks for a fire for her ill mother, and there was a man awaiting for her in shadows of the woods. He had a taste for blood, something of which she fights off every second of the day.

Brenton [bren • ton] was the typical hoodlum teenager of the 1970's. Into the Sex Pistols and their style, he had heard rumors flying around his school about an upcoming concert and left off to London where he awaited his faith. Finally, he never got to go to the concert, and still today he's upset. Disregarding this, he wasn't cruel, he was actually a happy-go-lucky child.. with a bad rep.

She's actually just her vampiristic side of which she represses constantly causing her to think that she's an actual person because of the internal fights. This part in the story could be linked to some sort of multiple personality disorder, but that's only a way of seeing it..
