Amy was adopted by her aunt after the gruesome *** of her two parents. She was hospitalized soon after for schizophrenia and kept under evaluation for two months. After getting out, she returned to her high school in Miami. There she met Leon, her soon to be boyfriend, and couldn't explain her deep attraction to him. Amy found that Leon was emancipated and persuaded her aunt and older sister, Ashley, to let her live with him. Leon had a shady past though, filled with a police record and questionable friends, but Amy grew to love them too. Since moving in with Leon, Leon has been very protective of Amy. She likes it though, even when it gets annoying... The first thing Leon ever said to Amy after their first date was that he never saw eyes like rain and lightning....and he stroked her cheek...
