Mason has known that he was gay since he was thirteen and after that he never questioned it. Mason has had a crush on trace since he met him but never thought that his feelings would be returned, but now he knows the truth. Mason is confident and talented, he always knows what to say but somehow someone always makes things awkward around him. He is open to everyone even though it killed any chance at a healthy relationship with his dad who says that he is "a disappointment" and a "disgrace to the family".
