Frank is now 47 years old. His health has been degrading over time, ever since he felt that sharp pain during their honeymoon. He was never the same. The occurrence transformed his convictions, changed his dreams and developed new ambitions. Every morning, he’s a volunteer at the Government Institute for Mentally Retarded Children, which opened in NJ late 2014. In the afternoons, at a part-time job, Frank teaches at a Music School. He loves being a teacher, but especially being a volunteer; those kids taught him that he can fight off his fears and live a plain life, even if in pain or constant distress.

Gerard is now 52 years old. His smile has been missing for over thirteen years, ever since Frank was first diagnosed, right after their honeymoon. Gerard is a full-time editor at Kaleidoscopic, a publishing brand created in 2020, NJ. He’s the director of the Comic Section, where he works with old and recent authors. He’s also a full-time author of his own comic stories; sometimes he writes, other times he writes and draws. In addition, he writes chronicles about any theme he finds suitable for two local newspapers. He tries to keep himself busy enough.

Elena is now 20 years old. She finished High School last year, but she never wanted to go to College. She applied to various jobs, and got one at a local Advertising Company because she was always the best student in her class, and almost everyone is fighting for her. Elena still prefers to stay at home, especially since now she lives with her father and Frank. She loves them both with a heart full of emotions. She keeps Frank some company every time Gerard works late, but for her it could be every day and every night.
