Daphne is a snowboarding super pipe rider, who is just starting to make her name known in the snowboarding world. In the beginning, she rides for fun, always having a love for it. But, once she starts to become more recognizable and famous, she begins to change into a diva-like star. Louie Vito has had a crush on her for as long as she can remember, though she's never seen him as more than a friend. That all starts to change, however, when he starts helping her out with a trick that she's been having difficulty with.

Piper used to be the number one female snowboarding super pipe rider until she fell during one of her runs six months ago, destroying her entire knee and her career as a snowboarder. She is currently Daphne's coach, and though they are cousins, she treats Daphne as if she were her little sister. She's great friends with Louie Vito, having known him since she was twelve, when their families used to snowboard together. She knows that Louie has a crush on Daphne, and she is a big supporter of the two of them getting together.
