He's 16 in Sold, and 22 in Take a Bite of My heart (for all you math nerds out there, he turned twenty two right before the story began) He desperately wanted to have a baby, but that's impossible because he's a dude, but he's extremely fertile and the biological father of their unborn baby Bridget. He love Addison more than anything, and already loves Bridget with his whole heart. He's incredibly smart, but plays dumb at work so people don't think he's arrogant. He was sold into slavery in the beginning of Sold? and was sexually abused before and after this happened, so he gets really nervous when people other than Addison make sexual references or jokes. Btw, he's definitely the bitch in this relationship.

Addison is 19 in Sold? but is 24 in Take a Bite of my Heart. He has a heart of gold, and will do anything for Matthew. His dad is a complete asswipe, but his mom is nice, but was never truly in the picture. He is sterile, meaning unable to have children, which makes him feel awful about himself. He represses his anger, meaning he goes absolutely bananas when he finally lets it all out. He's extremely protective of Matthew and their unborn child, Bridget. He'd give the world for a happy, healthy and safe husband and child.
