Spencer grew up in a suburb just outside Miami, Florida with her older brother, Morgan, and mother. Her father died five years ago from cancer, and while it outwardly affected Morgan more, Spencer was just as disturbed as her brother was. Sarcastic and untrusting, Spencer can tell if she's being lied to before you even introduce yourself. She's intuitive and judgmental, with swinging moods that even her brother can't predict. At the same time, Spencer's sense of right and wrong tend to overlap, and she often rationalizes her extreme behavior as just "doing what was right."

Morgan is a different person to everyone he interacts with. To himself, he's a hardworking, intelligent and trustworthy person. To his friends, he's a nice guy with only a couple funny jokes he thinks are better than they actually are. To Spencer, he's selfish and irrational. In actuality, Morgan is everything previously mentioned, and yet barely any of those at all.
