He ended up getting mixed in with Marco's bad deal with the local gang there and he and the other three had to run away from there and took refuge in New York.

In Las Vegas they were in the same dance school and they were friends until Vaughn figured out who Stephen's father was. Then they became enemies because Stephen's dad wanted Vaughn dead.
