A student at Cardiff Arts University, who's studying music. He works in Costa Coffee to pay his fees and his third of the rent for the apartment he shares with Shay and Josh. His best friend is Marina, who he met when he started university, and they've been firm friends ever since. He's somewhat of a neat freak, and is known among his music class as a singer, pianist and guitarist, and he's one of the most versatile in the group. He has a passionate love for Lady Gaga, and hasn't dated anyone since he and Daniel broke up and year and a half ago.

Senior in high school, who's been flown over from Virginia by Aled's mom. He's Aled's ex boyfriend, and he likes to think that the only reason they broke up is because Richmond to Cardiff was too long of a distance for a relationship. He still cares about Aled -a lot. He hasn't been in a relationship since he and Aled broke up. He's remained friends with Jack, Andrew, Alex and Rian after Aled left. He's thinking of pursuing Art or Math to a higher level after he gradutes high school.

A senior in high school. He came over to Wales with Daniel because he didn't really think Daniel could do it alone. He's been with Alex for over two years now, and they're seriously considering buying a flat and moving in together. He misses Aled more than he lets on. He's still quite chronically shy, and he still lives with his twin siblings. When he graduates high school, he plans to go to a local college and get a job nearby. He's not really bothered what happens in his life, so long as he's with Alex.

Jack's boyfriend, who graduated high school last year. He has a part time job at Wal-Mart, but they've given him time off to go over to Wales with Daniel and Jack. Aled was always like his little brother, so when he hears that he's been miserable, he's more than happy to go over and help. It was his idea for him and Jack to move in together, and while he knows it'll be an uphill struggle for a while, he's got friends and family who'll support him. He's concerned about how his mom will cope without him, though.

One of Aled's best friends. He studies Music Theory at Cardiff University, and has a part time job at Subway in attempt to pay his third of the rent and his university fees. He's dating Josh, and has been for as long as he can remember. His family live in Manchester, so he doesn't see them often, but he's not paticularly bothered, since they don't approve of him and Josh being together. He's fairly easy to get along with, but he can't cook to save his life.

Shay's boyfriend and one of Aled's closest friends from secondary school. He's on the same music course as Aled at Cardiff Arts University. He plays bass and is one of the group's stronger male vocalists. His family are from Surrey, but they moved over to Wales when Josh was five. He works part time in HMV and is always bragging about how he has the coolest job out of all three of them. He's incredibly lazy and has been known to sleep through some of Shay and Aled's shouting matches before. He's a few months away from his eighteenth birthday.

Senior in high school and Jack's best friend. He intends to go to college and study music after he graduates. He still plays piano and is still in the school's show choir, but he's now the male lead. He only goes to Wales because he doesn't fancy being stuck with Zack and Rian for two weeks on his own. He's still on-off dating Hayley, but he's never really mentioned it to anyone that he's with her.

Marina Diamandis.

Aled's closest and possibly only girl friend. She's of Italian descent and is on the same music university course as him. She also happens to work at Costa Coffee, but on a slightly different shift to him. She usually drags him shopping after they're both done with work or college. She plays the piano and the violin, and is dating one of the guitarist from her course, Iain. She's also one of the group's leading female vocalists, and she often ends up doing duets with Aled or Josh.

Another attendee of Cardiff Arts University, but he's on the Art & Design course. He does the lighting for the university drama productions, and has somewhat of a fixation with Aled. Shay and Josh aren't too keen on him, but Marina doesn't seem to care. Daniel takes an instant dislike to him from the moment he sees him. He works in the Waterstones across the street from the branch of Costa Coffee where Aled works and is constantly dropping in to say hello during his breaks.
