Even though he's loaded and lives the life many would kill for, he's not a very happy man. After his girlfriend left him 5 years ago, Shin turned into a cold and cynical man, putting himself first and everything else last. He has little contact with his half-brother, Kim Jae Wook who is his fathers illegitimate son. Even though Shin comes across as a cold hearted prick, deep down he just wants closure with his family and to find someone that will remind him how it feels to live (and love) again.

Jae Wook is the heir to his father company, one of the biggest telemarketers in Seoul. This caused a huge feud within the family, mainly because Jae Wooks mother was not his fathers wife but his first love. Even though his older brother Hyo Shin had next to no interest in taking over the company, it was expected from everyone that he was to succeed his father. When the company was given to his illegitimate brother however, the feud started. Even though, Jae Wook is a loving and warm person - but knows when to be serious and businesslike. Having been brought up in a very strict and cold home, it's amazing he's gotten out alive (so he claims). He's an active musician, fronting an underground indie band. He's happily single; but wouldn't mind someone who loved him for him, and not his money.

Mizu works in one of the coffee shops that Jae Wook owns and due to certain events grows to be one of Rinas best friends. Her parents moved from Japan before she was born, and even though she is Japanese she speaks fluent Korean and considers herself Korean as well. With her short temper you wouldn't want to get on her bad side; but relax - she's not one to hold grudges. She, as Rina, is a bit of a clutz and it puts her in the most awkward situations at times. With her obsession towards rabbits, cake and rabbits she's not everyone's cup of tea - but you really can't help but love her. Her hair is cut short, which with her tiny figure makes people often mistake her for a boy half her age. Still, she is quite gurly and secret dreams of that movie romance.

Rinas landlord. Brought up in a rich family Heechul attended the best schools, colleges and universities but was never one of those who finished at the top of his class. His family also disowned him when they found out about his sexual orientation. To earn quick money, he bought a apartment complex with his life partner, Ryeowook using all their money. Even so, he continues to live a rich lifestyle with designer clothing and expensive hair products.
