He was sexually abused from the time he was 11-13 by a family friend. This left him with a fear of people. He never talked to anyone other than his parents, which caused him to be bullied in school. When Trent, who has a reputation as being a troublemaker, comes into his life, he finds himself wanting to open up more, specifically to Trent. (Just a side note, I think I mention in the story that Grayson had snakebites. But the guy in the picture doesn't. So just imagine that guy with snakebites. Haha)

Since his mother died, Trent has had a reputation as a man-*** and he constantly gets into fights. He does drugs, drinks, and smokes. But when he finds Grayson and realizes he needs him in his life, he finds it very easy to change. He feels very protective of his boyfriend, and for the first time in a while finds a point in his life.
