She refuses to think she's going to ever find love again. She's still the cold blooded half breed, looked down and ignored if not more. She's cold, and usually spends her time alone and out of the sunlight. Candy is convinced that anyone will even come close to Gaspard, and won't let herself love again.

He's extremely protective, and doesn't like being told he's wrong or being put in his place. His reaction to meeting Candy is one of instant love. Indeed, potrayed by Gaspard Ulliel. Second book; Gaspard is more of a ghost in this story, but is he really? He appears to Candy in dreams, making her think about their love, and how it used to be. Is it possible it could come back?
