Claire is entering her second year at BGSU and is just about to break down and quit. Her life is going nowhere, she is stressed out twenty four seven, and worried sick. At the age of eighteen Claire became pregnant after a quick one night stand with her best friends older brother. He wanted nothing to do with her or the baby, and quickly left. Claire is a very high maintenance person, her apartment is always clean, well until she looks for something, and her car is always full of books or clothes. Claire and her young daughter Shaylyn are living on their own, and are making it by fine, until Shaylyn runs into troubles. Claire then has to apply for two new jobs. Motherhood wasn't supposed to be easy, but this is a little harder than she thought.

Shaylyn is the cute, bug eyed, cutie that everyone has fallen in love with. She loves her mommy and is a well behaved baby. She looks more like her daddy than her mommy, but Claire ignores that. She loves her aunt, doesn't see her grandparents much, and won't see her daddy either. Shaylyn was always a healthy baby, but it was flu season, and some complications showed up. Shaylyn has become fussy and a little more whiny.

Ellie is Claire's best friend and Shaylyn's aunt. Ellie was extremely pissed off when Claire and her older brother had sex, and then later found out she would be an aunt. But she was over that quickly once she realized that her older brother wasn't going to help out. Causing a lot of problems within the family, Ellie blamed herself, which led to a suicidal path. Ellie was hospitalized after an attempt. After taking a bottle full of pills and slitting both her wrists she was found bleeding and puking by a pregnant Claire, whom rushed her to the hospital, and then the same day.. Shaylyn was born. Causing Ellie to live. She resides in the apartment with Claire and Shaylyn. Ellie is a bit of a flirt.. Oh my.

Micheal is your average guy, he smokes, drinks, ***s, and messes with girls' hearts. He is a facebook junkie, and is always texting. He loves where he works-Hot Topic-and his other place of employment-Bob Evan's-Which he doesn't like as much, but oh well. Micheal is currently attending BGSU, and is hoping to graduate from there within the next year or so. Micheal is a total player, he is always flirting and ***ing with girls hearts, he really could care less if he hurts you. Micheal does have a soft spot though, and he rarely shows it. If he could, he would live in Florida, beaches, and babes, that's his motto.
