Lives in a small town with her brother Sevin. Parents disapeared and were presumed dead when she was young. Her world is thrown into utter chaos when the vampire race is made known to the world and decides to take a little over 10,000 humans to feed their race due to a "blood shortage." She ends up being kidnapped along with her brother in an invasion of her town. She doesn't like to dress 'nicely' or pretty herself up for anyone due to the fact that the prettier you are the more they want you.

Lives with his sister Haylei in a small town. He has done nothing but take care of her his entire life. Their parents used to go out for extended periods of time and he would be left alone to watch out for her. Haylei (Hails) doesn't remember her parents on a bad note so Sevin doesnt see a reason to ruin her memory of them. He swares to protect her and that nothing bad will ever happen to her but their town is invaded by a group of Night Walkers and they are taken along with another 10,000 humans all over the globe.
