Jayne is quite short, with long naturally blonde hair (Though her Visual Kei loving friend and bandmate loves convincing her to dye it). She has a very varried style, that can go from girly and Hello Kittie Cute, to hardcore, and Trash Metal, depending on her mood, and where she is going. When Jayne is with her four-year-old son, Ray, she tends to dress more matronly, and less like a rockstar. She plays guitar, and sings in a hard rock band named "Akuma", named by their bassist Mei, fit their original title demand "Demon" when they couldn't find a name they all liked. She has a short temper, but tries to keep it in check, often seeming extremely calm even if she wants to rip your head off of your shoulders, and kick it down the street like a football. She's not afraid of much, but losing her son is a phobia of hers. She is not overbearing, but very protective over Ray. He is her world. Jayne has also learned to speak Japanese nearly perfectly, thanks to her friend Mei.

Ray is the four year old son of Jayne Doe, the vocalist and guitarist in "Akuma". He adores the band "Dir en Grey", and views its members as more godlike than human. At four years old, he can already play multiple songs by them on his guitar. He has light brown shory hair, that is somewhat curly but not much. He also has his mother's green eyes, but his have flecks of blue, where hers have brown. Ray also speaks perfect Japanese, thanks to his aunt Mei teaching him.

Dexter "Dex" White

Dex is the guitarist for the band "Akuma" and adoptive uncle of Ray Doe. He has shoulder length blonde hair, and dark brown eyes. He's average height, and slim build. He is the only member of "Akuma" who did not speak Japanese prior to their tour in Japan, and because of that must communicate through writing in a notebook he carries with him. To yell, he simply writes bigger.

Andrew "Drew" Jones

Drew is the drummer for "Akuma". He has dark hair that comes down to a little past his shoulders, and is quite tall compared to the rest of his band. He's a lot quieter, and often shy, but he says that is because his band is so loud, he has to balance it out. He is also very protective over Ray, and has claimed himself his uncle, the same way Dex has. Though he is shy with it, and not very confident, he can also speak Japanese. His is nowhere near as fluent as Jayne, Mei, or Ray's, but he can communicate well enough.

Mei is half japanese, and very proud of it. She is very fond of Visual Kei, and equally fond of changing her hair. Any time a big event comes up, she is sure to show up with a new hair color, or style, of often both. It's a wonder she hasn't lost her hair from the constant dying. Her eye color is also hard to determine, from the makeup, and contacts she has. She is taller than Jayne, but not by much, but blames it on her short Japanese father. She is also protective of Ray, as his adoptive aunt, and speaks to him ONLY in Japanese. Japanese is her first language, technically, though she learned both Japanese and English at the same time, the same way Ray did. Her father only spoke to her in Japanese, and her mother only spoke English.

Robert Finch

Robert is the manager of "Akuma", and cares very much for the band. He has short brown hair, that is going grey, and often wears a suit. He's very professional, but at the same time he's very relaxed with his band, knowing that they will do the work that needs to be done. Jayne has addopted him as her father figure, and he has many times called her the daughter he wishes he had. The two are very close, and if Ray isn't calling him "Robbie", he calls him "Papa". He's also of average height, but slightly on the heavier side, though not by much.

Michio is Mei's devoted boyfriend, and son of the owner and hostess of her band's favorite Japanese restaurant, "Tochikura's", run out of the family home. He has dark hair, and is a "closet fan" of Visiual Kei. He loves the music, but refuses to wear the style. He loves hanging out with Ray, and watching him play guitar, and adores Mei's entire band.
