Arden is just.. disturbed. She blames her older brother for making her that way, but no one believes her. She's been living at the Ashmore Asylum for about two years, since she was 13. She's obsessed with blood, fire, and pain. She also has trust issues, though she would put her life in the hands of the twins, when they are both there. She likes peircings. She has her hips, nose, angel bites, tongue and six peircings on each ear. She also has a tatoo that no one knows about. That will be discovered in the story.

Paris is a patient at Ashmore Mental Asylum. He has always liked Arden from the first day there, but was scared to tell her because he thought she would think he's to.. well, crazy. He was put in there for the simple reason that his parents didn't want to deal with him any more, but he thinks otherwise. He would do anything to tell Arden how he feels, and thinks Brian is a threat.

Landon is one of the patients on the fourth floor. He was put in Ashmore Mental Asylum for having fantasies about his younger sister, Hali. He has times when he thinks of Arden as his sister, and fantasizes about her in the same way.

Brian is new to Ashmore. He's Arden's new room mate. He was sent there for the most extreme of the 7 sins; ***. He doesn't like to talk about why he's there, so when Arden asks why he doesn't ask why she's there, he tells her the truth. Him and Arden become the usual opposite-gender-best-friends. He makes the occasional dirty joke, she acts repulsed, but is laughing on the inside. Brian actually likes it there, though he misses his old life. He seems to hope that he's a different person when he gets out, but he doesn't know the real catch; you don't.

Matt was in an accident that made him lose him memory. He doesn't know anything about his old life, but everything about himself. One of the things he wishes he could remember is why they sent him to Ashmore Mental Asylum. When he gets there, he's paranoid. Something tells him that he should be there, and that's what scares him.

Zacky Baker likes to create pain. One of his obsessions is to watch people squirm and know that he made them do it. He finds it quite unreal when he meets Arden. He finds out that she likes pain, blood and fire, the three things he likes to create the most. Him and Arden become best friends, but he doubts that she likes him more than Brian.

Jimmy is the best. He's always happy and a great guy in general. No one knows why he's put in Ashmore Mental Asylum, because much like Brian, Jimmy purposely avoids the topic. He secretly has a thing for Arden.

Johnny is.. corrupted. He is one of the odd people at Ashmore, yet he's attracted to Arden's group. They accept him, and he loves that. He was put in Ashmore for nothing more than having a little more than a few extra voices in his head, much like the twins. His relationship with Arden is not as legit as the others' and he has no idea where he stands.
