Evie is a tall, gazelle-like Asian woman with an overall tidy appearance at work. She's very gentle, maternal, and approachable. Evie is the type that, no matter how hard of time she's having, still puts others problems over her own. She has always wanted a child, but cannot bear one.

At his workplace, they say John can never anything seriously, but he's got a big heart. He has curly red hair, is slightly tubby, and a beard that he just loves to tickle Evie, his wife, with. He works in robotic engineering, and immediately takes to Bram after seeing his potential.

Bram, small and baby-faced, looks much younger than he actually is, but he's wise beyond his years. He's a very smart child, and likes to challenge himself with puzzles. Unless it's stimulating, he doesn't care for it much. After losing his mother to a drive-by, he feels empty, and comes to think of Evie as a mother figure.

Isla, Bram's mum, was a warm woman. She only seemed capable of loving and helping others, and there was not a single bad bone in her body. Even after being left by her husband, she didn't falter.
