Castiel is an Angel of Heaven, who manifests on Earth inside his Vessel, Jimmy Novak. He first appeared as a bright light and a high pitched sound to Dean Winchester. Since saving Dean from hell and finding his vessel he has helped them constantly even if it meant rebelling against the other angels and God himself. Even though he remains emotionless there are times he is in doubt of what he truly should feel.

Bobby Singer is a hunter, close friend and father figure to Sam and Dean. He became a hunter shortly after a demon possesed his wife, who he killed. He, if anything is more of a father to Sarah Singer than he is to Sam and Dean. He's helped Sam and Dean get out of trouble more times than he can count.

Dean Winchester is the eldest of the Winchester brothers. He's been to hell and back, Castiel raised him back. When he was raised he was told that he would help win the apocolypse. He has always been a playboy, hitting on girls whenever he gets a chance. When he meets Sarah she can't help but laugh at his love for cheeseburgers and pie. He's very protective when it comes to his younger borther Sammy and would do anything for him.

Sam Winchester younger brother of Dean, and middle child of John Winchester. Bad omens followed him all his life, starting when he turned six months and the yellow eyed demon visited his home. When he turned 23 his life turned upside down when the demon blood that coursed through his veins made him have visions. Like his brother he also ended up in hell. He was also corrupeted by a demon. Out of bothe Winchester brothers Sarah warms up to him first.

The daughter of Bobby Singer, she became a hunter at the age of 15 when her father wanted to make sure she could and would protect herself from the evils of the world when he couldn't. She sometimes gets mad at how protective he gets over her but knows he only does it because he loves her. She meets the Winchester boys one day at her fathers house and he suggests she goes with them on a hunt. She eventually meets Cas and starts to feel things she shouldn't. In the beginning of the series she starts off at the age of 26.
