Mikey was heavily protected by his brother, Gerard, as he was growing up - and he had to learn to be tough from a young age. He values friends and family, only trusting his wife, Alicia, and the other gang members with his innermost secrets. He doesn't like Gerard's conquest for Lauren because he belives that she'll tell others about their 'buisness'.

Frank joined the gang when he was 16, learning from the others quickly, and using his 'missions' to release his need for death. He is a friendly man, often stealing personal space in favour of getting to know others quickly, however, he doesn't trust anyone but the gang. His mother is one of his driving forces, and he hides his criminal life from her.

Ray is devoted to the gang - providing for his family using the profits from the 'buisness'. He often likes to indulge in *** discreetly, using the gang to help him dispose of the bodies and keep him from being locked away. He is apprehensive about expanding the turf, but also introduced the idea to the others in a hope of expanding his 'hunting ground' also.

Bob is the newest member of the gang, and sometimes feels unsure about his role in all of the gang's activities. He lives alone, and his family lives far away from New Jersey - he has a shaky relationship with his parents, due to the death of his sister when he was 7 years old - due to his sister's drug-addled friends. Bob is kind, but won't hesitate to defend his friend with viscious violence.

Lauren lives under the reign of workaholic parents, and has dreams to go to art college in New York. She doesn't want to live in New Jersey for much longer. She forms a friendship with Gerard, which quickly escalates into something more - she's afraid of how the gang will react, however, and doesn't know what she really wants from the people around her.
