She's shy, but had another side to her than no one gets to see unless they can gain her trust. She doesn't want to be taken care of, and needs to find independence to discover who she really is. She falls in love without ever really knowing it.

Ville, a rock star, finds it difficult to tell the difference between falling in love and falling for lust. He tries to tell himself that Eva is just another friend that he cares for, but he feels more for her than he has ever felt for any friend. He takes her into his home in hopes to help her be more outgoing, but he finds out that Eva cannot be forced out of her shell like he had hoped.

Bam makes his own rules. Never one to help someone out, he shocks himself with he helps out an abused woman that he meets on a plane. He wants the best for her, and he's not entire sure why. Everyone finds it strange that Bam helps Eva out with the best of intentions, and he finds it strange himself.

The man Eva is running from. He never used to be crazed and abusive, but he convinced himself that something about his love for Eva drives him to be so violent. He drinks, yells, fights, and forces himself onto Eva. He doesn't understand why she would want to run away from him, but he wants to get her back anyway that he can.

Ansa was always a girl to depend on. She was always Eva's rock. She's an amazingly beautiful and caring person who never wants to see anyone hurt.

Aleksi was never open to anyone. Beloved by his parents, he and Eva were never close as children. He always thought of himself as better than her, but after hearing news of her depressing life, his heart changings. He wants to be the brother that Eva never had.
