Cobalt has only known art his whole life. As a child his parents would go on business trips and the servants couldn't be bothered with him. They just left him with a large assortment of crayons and a stack of paper. He hasn't ever really made contact with the outside world. Only with his few friends, but even them he pushes out of his mind. Only his paints really understand him and know how to express what he is thinking. Amber, Fawn, Iris, Jasper, and Fallow will never understand what really goes on in his mind, even if they are his closest friends.

No one sees into his mind and he'll never let them. Constantly he moves looking for a place where he can settle down and just be himself. Where he can find people like him and he doesn't have to worry about what they think.
