Raised as an orphan who was saved from the streets by the Tanners, a couple who ran an inn. They agreed to give him a home and a small wage, in exchange for him working at the inn. He agreed and spent the rest of his childhood there. However, he soon discovers that there are secrets hidden in his lineage. He gains a guardian spirit who he dubs, Skylar. He then searches to discover the secrets of his gifts and a way to topple the oppressive factions that rule the known world.

A guardian spirit that bonds with Jiordano. She guides and helps him in his journey and trains him to use his powers. She has more human traits than most entities or spirits like her because she has been bound to humans for so long. She is nurturing and will do anything to protect her ward and sometimes this can come out in unexpected and strange ways.

Neviah Verity

An ancient shape shifting monster that can see the future. She helps guide people to their destinies. Though her past is mainly a mystery, she speaks of certain gods as though she knows them personally, adding to her mystique. She helps Jiordano multiple times on his journey, though rarely in a straight forward way.

Hauke is the leader of Amiad. Not much is known about him, other than his lack of social skills and the odd relationship he has with his partner, Dael. He seems to be holding something secret adn will stop at nothing to bring the Amrantos to power, even if it means sacrificing members of the core Amiad.
