The day before his 15th birthday, he "met" his first "figment," as his therapist calls them. He thought it was a fluke, but the figment kept coming back, eventually becoming hostile. Sebastien had a psychotic break at a funeral one morning, prompting his parents to take him to a doctor. Sebastien was diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia, rare among people of his age. Because of this, he keeps to himself for the most part. In fact, he often ends up alienating people who try to get close to him. When word spread that Sebastien was schizophrenic, people were quick to judge. His walls don't come down easily.. but with Nora, they've been down for a long time.

Sebastien's best friend. The two were born 12 hours apart, in the same hospital. Nora is a quick-witted and spontaneous girl. Since she and Sebastien were children, Nora would drag him along on her little "adventures" through local forests and places they weren't supposed to go. When she found out Sebastien was schizophrenic, she didn't flinch. She knows he's not comfortable talking about it, so she's always left the subject alone. Now, Nora documents her adventures by writing. Her tales are always full of exaggerations, but Sebastien has always loved reading them.
