Taylor is an important character in this story, though not the main one. She is sixteen and a half, very outgoing, and relies entirely on snap decisions. She never sticks around with one boy until she meets James.

Trev is sixteen and extremely messed up. His father left the family when he was ten, causing him to hold the weight of the family. He is very protective of his mother because he is all that she has left after his sister left. His nickname is short for Trevor, which only his mother can call him. He doesn't get along with others well, besides Quinn.
