He was raised on a farm in southern Missouri, next door to his best friends Linus, Leo, and Benji. Anatole was assigned to kidnap Kalila Thompson, and while studying her, he fell in love. Kalila's whole life was turned upside down when she was kidnapped in "Stockholm." The man who she thought was her father, isn't, and she learns that her mother wasn't as perfect as she thought. Linus is best friends with Kalila, Beni, Leo and Anatole. He serves as the comic relief of the group, and can act childish at times. He grew up with Anatole, Benji, and Leo in southern Missouri, and they've been inseparable since diapers. Now, with the help of Kalila, he and Anatole have to stop Jarred Thompson from working his "little project."

Leonardo, or Leo, is a childhood friend of Linus, Benji and Anatole. He grew up in southern Missouri with all of them. He gets the information on the target, and usually helps keep them hostage. He lives in the house with Anatole, Linus, and Kalila. He becomes another older brother figure to Kalila, along with Linus and Benjamin.

Benjamin, or Benji, is a well to do doctor that works for the government doing various things. He is a childhood friend of Anatole, Linus, and Leonardo. He grew up in southern Missouri with all of them. He is a housemate of Anatole, Linus, Leonardo, and Kalila. He becomes an older brother figure to Kalila, along with Linus and Leonardo.
