Daphne is 25. She is the younger sister to the rockstar M. Shadows. To her though, he's just Matt; the over-protective teddy-bear of a brother. They used to be close until Daphne moved to New York to go to cosmetology school. She's only seen him a few times within seven years. The last time any of her family has seen her daughter was at her brother's wedding when Misty was a baby. When Daphne finds out about her boyfriend's secret life, she takes her daughter and catches a plane to Huntington Beach where she can restart her life in her true home. When she finally goes home though, her feelings return for a certain guitarist. (portrayed by Elisha Cuthbert)

Derek Reynolds
Derek is 29. He is Daphne's boyfriend and he is the father to their four year old daughter, Misty. Derek provides for his family by being the biggest drug lord in New York City. He also makes shipments out of the state. One day he comes home to find Daphne and Misty gone. Enraged, he goes after Daphne; preparing to do anything it takes to get them back. Roxxie was Jimmy's fiance before he passed away. Even after two years, she is still filled with grief. When she comes back to town though, she finds herself infatuated with a much younger drummer. (Portrayed by Emma Stone.)
