Adriel has been a social outcast his entire life. His vocabulary is just plain weird, and he doesn't know how to act around people. When he moves schools, he decides to befriend a boy. A boy named Shea. Adriel is very quiet, but when he does speak, he can be either very nice and caring, or sharp tongued, angry and even sarcastic.

Shea is spunky, loud, and could care less about what you think of him. He honestly doesn't give a shit, and will bother you until you talk to him. He does have a soft side that he doesn't show to anyone. Shea is so tired of trying to play the badass, but it's an image he's had for a while. He has never been open with his orientation, but bursts out of his shell when Adriel arrives.

Rory has known Adriel for his entire life, and is possibly one of the only people Adriel is truly comfortable with. He is a military man as well, but couldn't have been more happy when given the chance to go to public school. He would give his life for Adriel. It's rumored he has a small crush on Shea's cousin, Camryn.

Dimitri is one of the meanest people you would ever have the displeasure to meet. He is rude, crude and socially unacceptable, and doesn't give a flying ***. He was born and raised in Russia until he was twelve and was smuggled into America. Since then, he has learned English, but still has a decent Russian accent. He bullies anyone and everyone who gets in his way, and he especially dislikes homosexuals, which is why Shea has never been open with his orientation.

Camryn is Shea's cousin/sister figure. Her father died and her mother abandoned her at a young age, so Shea's parents adopted her as the next of kin. When Shea's parents died, Camryn and Shea did their best not to be seperated as they went through foster homes. When The Gillan's came to the foster home to adopt Shea, Shea demanded Camryn be taken with him or he wouldn't be taken at all. Camryn is loud-mouthed, very hormonal and careful when it comes to Shea. Her father's last name was Moore, and instead of taking the Gillan's last name as hers, she uses it as her middle initial.

Rylan is Shea's newly adopted brother. He is ginger haired and considerably whiny. He cries whenever Shea isn't around or when something goes wrong with Shea.

Sally and Drew Gillan
Sally is Shea's adoptive mother, and Drew is Shea's adoptive father. Sally is a scientist and Drew is an astronomer/physicist. They are very open, kind of like hippies.

Jacky and Mark Kippel
Adriel's aunt and uncle. Aunt Jacky is sharp tongued and believes in Shea's love for Adriel. Uncle Mark doesn't like Shea much. Uncle Mark is hardly ever home, and when he is, the house is ran like a military base.

Mal watches over Adriel in times of depression. She's very loving, and she only wants the best for Adriel. She's like his guardian angel, more of a guardian demon. Her age isn't applicable because she's older than 140 years.
