She has a drive for something that most people would consider highly illogical. She wants to become as light as air, and it is nothing that she has been hoping to achieve since she was a little girl. She keeps to herself and has always been a good child. But she doesn't get along with her parents, because they don't want anything to do with the way that she lives her life. Her body just won't give in to want she wants-to weigh less than 100 lbs. Her mother sends her away in hope her only daughter becomes "normal" again. Her father just wants to clear the family name since that's all that really matters to him.
