Andy is your typical teenager with a secret. He is gay, has been bullied since the age of twelve and has parents that do not care for him. He's been beat within an inch of his life many times, but is too scared to report the bullies incase they get worse. He has always struggled with body image issues, and falls into the harsh world of bulimia and anorexia at the age of 17. He has always liked his best friends ashley more than he should. He finally got the courage to tell Ashley he liked him at 17 and they've been a couple ever since. Andy has also self harmed from a young age. Will his "habits" help him, or tear him and the ones he loves apart?

Ashley has one love of his life. And that is his best friend Andy Biersack. Andy told him when they were 17 and they are now a couple. Ashley has had to stand back and watch while Andy has showed up many times bloodied and beaten on his doorstep, or called him begging for help. He is watching as Andy slowly sends himself to an early grave, but he's tried to help him. Nothing has worked. Will Ashley be alright and help andy through his struggles, or will he be affected for the worse?

He wants everyone to call him Jinxx and that's exactly what everyone does. Jinxx is secretly bisexual and likes Ashley in more than a friends way and is slightly jealous of Andy but he won't let it come between Andy and him. Jinxx has a temper at times, but is usually level headed. He is the rhythm guitarist for Black Veil Brides and sometimes struggles with emotionally straining situations. He loves the members of Black Veil Brides like his own family.

Lead guitarist for Black Veil Brides, Jake is like the father or the band. He is a peace keeper of sorts, and when shit breaks out, he steps in. Usuallys quiet he will speak up if he needs to, not afraid to voice his opinions.

Loves her sunglasses. The only female and eldest of Black Veil Brides. Sandra plays drums and stands at a small 5 foot 2" a full foot shorter than Andy. She has had to deal with abuse for her height, sexuality and also for being a female drummer. She's never given in and stands up for what she believes in. She works at a tattoo parlour, taking bookings, sorting clients etc... She is like the mother of black veil brides and just like jake is a peace keeper

Captain of the highschool football team, Brandon believes Andy is beneath him therefore beats him on a regualr basis. He feels no remorse for what he does to Andy. Andy is his main target although he verbally abuses Ashley too. Homaphobic he believes Ash and Andy are sinners for their sexuality and therefore hates them more.

Friend of Brandon he joins in with beating Andy. He feels some remorse for what he does to the poor boy and sometimes questions why he is friends with Brandon in the first place. but too afraid to say anything, incase Brandon turns on him instead, goes along with him

Best friends with Brandon since early childhood he joins him on his attacks on Andy. He feels no remorse for what he does, and see's it like a sport in some ways. Being on the footbal team he sees certain people below him, and sadly Andy is one of those unfortunate people.
