Kristopher Letang has pulled Sophia through some of her darkest times, and in the process he has become her best friend and soul mate. Kris truly has the heart of a good man, and even though he's tends to be a fighter on the ice, he is the sweetest man Sophia has ever met and knows that he would never hurt her. Kristopher can be completely introverted at times, but when he's with Sophia he's oftentimes outspoken and has a playful personality.

Despite everything Sophia has gone through, she has managed to find happiness in her chaotic life. Between an affectionate family, psychotic and loud friends, and a loving boyfriend, it seems as though Sophia's life is finally back on track. But it's not that easy. Sophia's life is far from being back on track. Her mother is addicted to drugs and her life is starting to spiral out of control and her stepfather is about to go on trial on numerous counts of abuse. Sophia is extremely insecure about herself; she has scars all over her body after years and years of receiving abuse. Kris knows that she's insecure about her scars and her body, but he doesn't know to what extent.
