He loves his parents and cherishes the people around him, and is soft spoken but isn't shy around most people, and is incredibly shy and just all-round loveable. He can't ride horses, but is good at crafting things and has a way with animals. He has a cat called Caesar, whom he has had since forever.

He's River's amazing best-friend who has a secret crush on River. Carsen is an out-doorsy person, and often goes riding with his precious horse, Camomile. He has known River since the dawn of time, and the two of them are close. Carsen is a protective, caring and friendly person, and is always the one River goes to whenever he's feeling down, and Carsen never fails to make people laugh. He is insanely handsome with the village girls chasing after him, but of course, his heart lies with River.

When he needs to be he can be regal and exert a calm authority, but anyone who knows him would realise he's more of a free spirit who is kind, genuinely protective and a bit of a jokester. He has a rocky relationship with his father, the King, but it on better terms with his mother.
