From the time she was born, Soya's entire life has been planned from the subjects she studies in schools, to her profession, even to the company she keeps. She's been dancing since she was able to fit in ballet shoes and is now part of a well known ballet company. She has long dark brown hair that is usually up in a ponytail or in a bun on the top of her head and light grey eyes. Though her skin was pale from her growing up in Finland, it's tanned slightly over the years of living in New York.

Frontman of the band HIM. He met Soya when he was 19 years old, taking an instant liking to her and accepting her into his group of friends easily. Though he hasn't seen her in almost 13 years, theres not a day that goes by the he doesn't wonder what happened to her.

Aida Toivonen is Soya's little sister. While she has many similarities to her sister, both physically and emotionally, she tends to be a bit more directs when it comes to her emotions. She's shy around strangers, but takes quickly to those she finds trustworthy. She looks up to her sister, as well as Ville. While she gets treated as a mini adult a lot of the time, she has her moments that are purely and innocently childlike.
