Demi leads a fairly uneventful life working part-time at a bar and part-time as a music journalist. She's quirky, with a good sense of humour but she's very mercurial and has a tendency to leap long before she looks.

Julia and Kellin might have been dating for the past nine months, but that doesn't mean she's any less likely to think of herself before others. She's naturally selfish, vain and proud, although it all hides a vulnerable interior, and she's prone to moments of real weakness. She's all about appearences, she hates to be a loser, and she doesn't like to be made a fool of- oh, and she's pretty posessive too. She works as a beautician in a local salon.

Justin usually spends a lot of time being a bit of a goofball in the band, but since they've been taking a little break he's gone pretty quiet. He's a deep guy, pretty patient, and pretty pensive, and probably the guy Kellin would go to if he needed to talk to someone, but recently, he hasn't been wanting to talk a whole lot, and no-one really knows why.

Gabe might try to be the father of the family, but he doesn't always do a great job at it. He's got a great sense of humour and he's a pretty warm and loving guy, but he doesn't always take a lot of time to understand how other people are feeling. Although he's probably closest to Jesse he tries to support the band bu out of all of them he's the one most like to not always seem to care an awful lot. He's been dating Demi's flatmate Melinda for a year and a half now, too.

Jesse's loud, sarcastic, and always making jokes. There's not a lot he takes seriously, but at least his positivty and optimism has a good effect on the rest of the band. He's not the most trustworthy, though, not because he doesn't care but because he tends to let his mouth run, and it doesn't help that he almost dated Julia before Kellin did, leaving a lot of underlying tension...

Melinda is actually Demi's step-sister and about the only positive thing to come out of their parents' failed marriage. They've been living together for five years now and are best friends, although Melinda is definitely the dominant character. She's a little kooky but very strong willed and has a tendency to think she knows best. Being an old friend she understands her friend's relationship with Kellin but erroneously like to try to sort things out herself, with varied results...
